WWI 1907 AUSTRALIAN LITHGOW ENFIELD RIFLE BAYONET P1907 MANGROVITE 42 SCABBARD

Description

You are bidding on a WWI P1907 Australian bayonet and scabbard for the Enfield rifle.
The bayonet is 21 ¾ inches with the blade being 17 inches.
The blade is marked with a star over a shield number 507, LITHGOW 1918.
The other side has two stars with the letter a and an X.
The blade has a blue finish that is thinning with stains.
The grips are wood and are not cracked but do have scratches and dents.
The pommel is marked A 16304.
The push button release works.
The scabbard is leather with metal end caps.
The scabbard is marked MANGROVITE 42.
The end caps are marl OA.
There is some rust on the metal caps.
