It is marked Porter Bros LTD Liverpool 1945.  It shows wear from age and use.  There is staining and holes.  See pictures for best details
This came as part of a collection of WW1 Royal Navy items.
The other items belonged to a Signalman.
I figured the flags were from then, but a few have WW2 dates.
As for the other 6, I don’t know if they are WW1 or WW2.
As I am listing them in my eBay store (4/13/2021), I have 8 flags to list.
