A USEFUL KIT IF YOU'RE UPGRADING TO DUAL CARBS!
On VW engines with a single carb, the preheat tubes are a must  to keep your carburetor warm so it can properly atomize fuel.  However, they aren't needed on dual carb engines as the carbs  then are able to draw heat directly from the heads. But then  what to do about the heat risers on the exhaust system? This  handy block-off kit takes care of that problem! Comes with two  steel block-offs and gaskets - no mounting hardware is included  (as this can vary by exhaust). We also offer this kit in chrome  in another listing.
