    Estate sale find, vintage original bodybuilding correspondence course from Earle E. Liederman, 1929.
    There are 14 envelopes with letters outlining the prescribed exercises along with visual aids and marketing material for other offerings.
    One of the most important bodybuilders in the early history of bodybuilding prior to 1930 include Earle Liederman who wrote some of the earliest bodybuilding instruction books.
    Earle E. Liederman started his strongman career in 1910 after quitting his job to become a professional athlete. In next eight years, Liederman toured the circuit showing skill and talent in lifting, feats of strength, acrobatics and similar disciplines.
    Eventually he got tired of that lifestyle and decided to do something new instead – and that’s when he created a new course focused on the use of a chest expander in a package with Muscular Development book and an illustrated booklet. This course was so successful that it have gone through more than twenty revisions.
