    Description

A shachihoko is a imaginary creature with a tiger head and a carp body. It is a Japanese traditional figure which is often found at the top of Japanese castle. It is believed that it has a power of putting out the fire. Therefore, it can be used as a charm for safety or ornamental purposes.
This product was converted into 3D data after 3D scanning the real shachihoko of Fukuyama castle in Fukuyama city, Hiroshima. We completely reproduced even the scratches on the tail. We used our precision casting technology and made it by stainless steel.
For your information, the Fukuyama castle was built 400 yeas ago and a part of the castle is designated as a national important cultural property. Moreover, it is one of the existing oldest parts of the castle.
