    Description

    This large tureen is identified as Chinese export porcelain known as Canton Willow blue and white.  It was dated about mid to late 1800s, and this one was rare as it's large size, grand paintings with high quality intensive cobalt blue.  The pig ear tips were chipped on both of them (the side handles, see pix for details) and some minor spots of defects which were from original firing/glazing.  Otherwise, clean and beautiful!  Size, 13" L, 8.5" W, 8.25" H.  Weight about, 6.6 lb.  This is popular rare collectable porcelain, especially large size covered tureen in such nice condition,  a very attractive item in your china cabinet!
