If there is intelligent life on other planets--I am not really sure about this one--the life there would be so advanced they wouldn't need ANYTHING. I don't sell needs. I sell wants.  I collect Marilyn Monroe memorabilia that I like. At least 90% of my Marilyn memorabilia I am leaving to my children. That's their tough luck. Anyway, I am selling this handbag because--to me at least--it represents two things: 1) What an underrated actress Marilyn Monroe was, and 2) What a pedestrian photographer her business manager Milton Greene was. THIS IS THE BEST PHOTO OF MARILYN HE EVER TOOK. And, technically, it's not that great. But. But it is iconic because Marilyn made the photo great--showing both her vulnerability and her sexiness at the same time. That's not easy to do. I give Greene credit for directing her, of course, but very few actresses could follow through like Marilyn. The photos represent both sides of the handbag. I could do without the tacky lips logo, but hey, I didn't manufacture the handbag. This would be a great gift for a teenager who identifies with the most famous American actress in history.
