Description
From the late 1940's to mid 1950's. Something about this particular doll's face...she just looks like she is so sad! Not sure if it is her eyes or lips, or maybe both. Just can't figure that one out! Oh well, these are the items that she is missing: hair net, tag, undergarment (thought I had that...maybe it will turn up) I found and will include the missing tiny bow that was on her shoe. The tag does remain in her dress. Hair seems to be in good shape. Her eyes still open and close, but are a little slow to respond. Shoes look in o.k. shape. I don't spot any holesin her dress or slip, but everything that was once white has yellowed over the years. Also the dress is a bit faded. The netting around the top of her dress and end of her sleeves is not in good shape, and does have holes. There is some mildew on her face, hands, and some spots of it are on her legs. She still has her hairbow. She can hold a sitting position, but needs to be restrung. I have done nothing to her. Hopefully her next owner will be able to help her with some of these issues. I myself have an issue with my sense of smell, and therefore cannot give you a truthful comment regarding her possible odor. She has been wrapped in tissue paper and stored in a cardboard box for the last 3+ years, which is far better than if she had been stored in plastic. This is about the best that I can do in describing the condition of this doll. If you have any further questions send me a message, and I will try and answer them. Thank you for your interest.
