Madame Alexander 1966 8” Indian Girl Doll with Baby in Papoose from the Americana Series + Box, Vintage PreOwned. Displayed only in doll collectors cabinet, and from non smoking pet free home. This is a vintage doll valued at 0. She has dark skin, dark brown hair in braids, brown eyes, bent knee, working eyes that shuts when laying down, and the baby’s eyes also open and shut in the papoose. She has a new pair of MA high top boots as the old ones got pretty worn out from all her travels :-), but her old original pair are tied to her wrist. Four rows of colorful bead necklace. She is wearing a colorful headdress and the feathers are an added accessory that slides on and off, and can be removed, if desired. Her dress is brown with a colorful strip on the bottom, which has stiffen somewhat with age. All the fringed areas appear to all be in tact. Underneath she is wearing an off-white cotton underwear. MA tag is sewn on the back of the dress. Box is old and not in great condition (tape was used all around previously), but does include the original box tissue. Doll stand included.
