    Madame Alexander Little Women Dolls
    Here are five vintage Madame Alexander dolls from Louisa May Alcott's story book
    Little Wome

    .  They are all model # 381 which I believe was produced sometime between 1960 and 1972.  All are bend knee walkers and have flutter eyes.  All are marked "ALEX" on their upper backs.  All are in their original outfits and have stands (maybe not original).  All have their names written by original owner in ink on the bottom of shoe.  All are in their original boxes.  Only three have hang tags.
    Included are:
    Marme:  Burgundy dress with pearl brooch and white apron.  Pantaloons, socks and shoes.  White cap with black bow.  Dress has red and white Alexander-kins tag.  "Walks" nicely, head turns and eyes flutter smoothly.
    Condition
    :  Very good, though back of her hair at her neckline is slightly messy.  Box is in good used condition.
    Jo:  Blue and white dress and white puffy sleeves and red apron. Pantaloons, socks and shoes. Dress has red and white Alexander-kins tag.  "Walks" nicely, head turns and eyes flutter smoothly.
    Condition
    :  Very good with minor signs of wear.  Box has a bumped corner and is in good used condition.
    Amy:  Light blue dress with white apron.  Pantaloons, socks and shoes. Dress has red and white Alexander-kins tag plus hang tag ("Amy" written on it in ink).  "Walks" nicely, head turns and eyes flutter smoothly.
    Condition
    :  Very good.  Box is in good used condition.
    Beth:  Pink and white checked dress with white apron.  Pantaloons, socks and shoes. Dress has blue and white "Madame Alexander" tag plus she has hang tag ("Beth" written on it in ink and string is missing).  "Walks" nicely, head turns and eyes flutter smoothly.
    Condition
    :  Very good, though back of her hair at her neckline is slightly messy.  Box is in poor condition with multiple tears and tape (see photo).
    Meg:  Lavender and white striped dress with red stone brooch and white apron.  Dress has blue and white "Madame Alexander" tag plus she has hang tag (does not say "Little Women." "Meg" written on it in ink, string is missing).  Eyes flutter nicely.
    Condition
    : Her legs seem a little loose.  She "walks" and her head turns slightly.  Box has writing on top plus moderate wear.
