JANE RUSSELL - June 21, 1921 – February 28, 2011 was an American film actress and one of Hollywood's leading sex symbols in the 1940s and 1950s. Russell moved from the Midwestern United States to California, where she had her first film role in 1943 in The Outlaw. In 1947, Russell delved into music before returning to films. After starring in several films in the 1950s, including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in 1953, Russell again returned to music while completing several other films in the 1960s. She starred in more than 20 films throughout her career.

GEORGE HURRELL - June 1, 1904 – May 17, 1992 - was a photographer who made a significant contribution to the image of glamour presented by Hollywood during the 1930s & 1940s. Hurrell photographed every star contracted to MGM. His striking black & white images were used extensively in the marketing of these stars. Which included Dorothy Jordan, Myrna Loy, Robert Montgomery, Jean Harlow, Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, Rosalind Russell, Marion Davies, Jeanette MacDonald, Anna May Wong, Carole Lombard, Norma Shearer & Greta Garbo. Hurrell also worked for Warner Brothers Studios, Columbia Pictures & 20th Century Fox. He photographed Bette Davis, Ann Sheridan, Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland, Ida Lupino, Alexis Smith, Maxine Fife, Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell & so many more famous movie star.

The Outlaw is a 1943 American Western film, directed by Howard Hughes & starring Jane Russell. The supporting cast includes Jack Buetel, Thomas Mitchell & Walter Huston. Hughes also produced the film, while Howard Hawks served as an uncredited co-director. The film is notable as Russell's breakthrough role, turning the young actress into a sex symbol & a Hollywood icon.
