Stamp mark on bottom: Catalina Pottery Made in U.S.A. This mark was likely used by Gladding-McBean & Co. after they purchased the full line of Catalina Clay Products (
equipment, stock, molds, and trademarks)
sometime between 1937 and 1942.
The vase is in excellent condition, inside and out. It is ribbed with a butternut color exterior and aqua interior. There are 2 tiny imperfections in the glaze on the outside (see photo) smaller than a pinhead. There are 3 small casting marks on the bottom. The last photo shows the interior illuminated, but the darker blue color is due to the bright lighting.
Vase is 8.5" high, 3.25" across the top opening, and approximately 3.25" at the base.
