collaboration with Dr. Lakra an artist from Mexico DC to create the unique packaging design of the Absolut ‘Mexico’ limited edition bottles.
The artist calles himself a

taking his inspiration in his design from leisure magazines and the

In his design for the Absolut Mexico edition he pays tribute to his roots and to the Mexican culture, representing three of the most important elements of the legendary Mayan culture.
The three elements Dr. Lakra illustrated for the packaging design are:
Balam
The Jaguar,
Kukulkan
The Feathered Serpent and
Hurakan
