I am offering a Sharpe Complete Guide to Handloading 2
nd
Edition from 1944.  The manual is in like very good to good condition. The book originally came with a dust jacket which is long since missing. Phillip B Sharp’s Complete Guide to Handloading was groundbreaking in its time and is becoming increasingly harder to find in good condition at a reasonable price.  If you want it, here is your chance.
Most of the load data in this manual is not applicable now, as newer powder and metallurgy are available.   However, Sharpe’s information on internal and external ballistics, bullet casting, rifling twists, headspace, primer construction, trajectory, etc., are timeless.  While most of the load data isn’t really applicable, it is usable in a pinch, and some of it is just plain cool.  There are even loads in it for a 30-06 using Unique, that makes me smile every time I see it (see attached pictures).
I also found a Savage July 1, 1940 price guide (see attached pictures) in the book when I purchased it that I am leaving in the book.
